“Django Salvatori’s Awe-Inspiring Death-Defying Big-Top Spectacuganza...featuring Ralph” is a twisted take on the world of tall tales. From the creator of “Catastropolis” and “Frankenstein is Dead”, playwright Justin Cioppa brings to life the story of a once-great circus troupe that has fallen on extremely hard times. In the face of disaster, they are given one last shot at the big time when they stumble across the most mind-blowing, awe-deploying act in history: Ralph. He’s a man capable of something no one seems quite able to explain.
Cioppa’s play is a relatively tall tragic/comic tale that explores the role of the myth in American society.
